Today I went with a friend to the annual "Amatørtræf Fyn" on the island of Fyn in Denmark.
It's an event that gets a few hundred attendees, many repeats, so it's good to meet old acquaintances.
I am participating, some of the time, at a table with microwave amateurs.
Some show their home made (or partly home made) equipment, ranging from small antennas to transverters and small fully functional transceivers.
One has built a test setup for a 1297MHz repeater, using a Pluto ADALM SDR, working with 40MHz spacing.
One showing digital amateur television on the 1.2GHz band.
A few transceivers using the Pluto SDR with Langstone software. With seperate "front-ends" it can work on any band between 70MHz and 6GHz, and a "front-end" could also be a transverter for 10GHz.
Many different interests are presented, ranging from CW activity to LoRa (Meshcore) experiments.
A good day, a bit tiring, but good fun.
